Green Rice Gallery in the heart of NoDa has 12 working Artist Studios, and two have just become available!

Our Artist Studios are open to the public during normal Gallery hours. Our clients are invited to tour the gallery as well as the studios, meet with our resident artists, and purchase artwork. Studio Artists have 24 hour access to their studio. Artists are expected to use their studios to produce, display, and sell their art. All work must be available for sale to the public. Green Rice provides a Gallery Representative on duty during normal business hours, so Artists need not be present in order for their work to be sold. Acceptable studio media are fine arts such as painting, sculpting, mixed media etc. Applicants and media are subject to Gallery approval.

Gallery Hours are as follows:

Tues-Fri 11am to 6pm
Sat 12pm to 6pm
Sun 12pm to 4pm

Green Rice Gallery, a 5-year-old fine art gallery in Charlotte, NC, is available for private and business parties, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, cocktail parties, baby showers, and any other event you may have in the works.

Our changing exhibits of original art will make a stunning backdrop for your event in this warm, open and sophisticated venue. The setting for your event will be 2,400 square feet of meeting space within our main gallery to hold a maximum of 50-150 individuals. 

Availability
The Green Rice Gallery is a retail art gallery. The gallery is available for rentals after 6:00pm Wednesday through Saturday, and all day on Sunday through Tuesday.

Cost
All weekday or weekend evening rentals: $1,000 up to 6 hours; $150/hour for each additional hour. Time begins when persons arrive for set-up and ends when they have broken down and departed. Gallery rental for New Year's Eve beginning at: $1,200.

$200 is due with application and is applied towards total cost.

Method
Upon approval of the application, the $200 deposit is non-refundable. The balance of the rental fee and all other charges will be due 2 weeks before the date of rental. Green Rice Gallery will accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard or Visa. All checks are to be made payable to Green Rice Gallery. Parking
Available parking is located behind the building, and additional parking can be found across the street from The Dog Bar.
