The fine art classes, in the heart of NoDa, will bring out every student's natural abilities in small classroom 
sizes to emphasize individual attention so everyone can grow at their own pace. 

Each child will begin with pastel drawing before working onto watercolor and oil painting. 
Students must be at least 7 years of age.

$60 a month for one hour classes once a week Tuesday through Friday.

Adult / Teen class tuition - $120 a month for weekly 2 hour classes

Holt McLean taught youth art classes for two years in California before moving to North Carolina in 2005. She taught urban youth with the Noda School of Arts in 2006 and soon became the Gallery Director of Green Rice Gallery. McLean now is a full time artist and studio instructor, an Oil Painters of America member, and she graduated from Appalachian State University in 2001.

Beginner to Intermediate Adult Drawing Classes

Learn how to translate three-dimensional objects onto two- dimensional surfaces once a week for two-hour sessions. You will learn to produce quick, accurate drawings by using the techniques we offer.

This class is for beginners and intermediates interested in working with charcoal drawings up to beginning painting. We have the tools to get you started and feeling confident.

Classes cost $120 per month and are limited to only five students for more individual instruction.

*Prices are based on monthly sessions, which include four classes.

You may pay more than one month at a time for a discounted price.
